The first three-section IMPULS set out on its journey today

On Sun­day, 15^th Decem­ber, 2013, the first, high-comfort, three-section IMPULS manu­fac­tu­red at NEWAG S.A. star­ted its regu­lar jour­ney servi­cing the route Rzeszów-Przemyśl.

The new rail vehicle, named after  Rev. Car­di­nal Adam Kozło­wiecki, was offi­cially han­ded over to Prze­wozy Regio­nalne  by Wła­dy­sław Ortyl,  the Mar­shal of Pod­kar­pac­kie Pro­vince  and Zbi­gniew Konie­czek, Pre­si­dent and CEO of NEWAG S.A. on Fri­day 13^th Decem­ber at 1 p.m.

Mr Ortyl, while han­ding over the vehicle to Prze­wozy Regio­nalne, empha­si­sed that this was a modern, com­for­ta­ble and eco-friendly means of trans­port. We are inve­sting in the new rol­ling stock in order to improve the com­fort of tra­vel­ling. Soon, six more simi­lar tra­ins will be servi­cing rail­way routes in our Pro­vince, said Mar­shal Ortyl.

Mar­shal Ortyl, you displayed great wis­dom while pre­pa­ring the tech­ni­cal spe­ci­fi­ca­tions for this order, said Mr  Konie­czek.  You have orde­red a high quality train which featu­res ame­ni­ties rarely seen on Polish rail­way tracks.

Impuls 36 WE is the first three-section elec­tric mul­ti­ple unit manu­fac­tu­red by NEWAG S.A. It is one of the most com­for­ta­ble tra­ins in Poland. It is fit­ted with seats with leather-covered arm­re­sts and headre­sts. The hermetically-sealed reten­tion tank toilet is equ­ip­ped with a sink with pho­to­elec­tric sen­sor and an elec­tric hand dryer. This modern, com­for­ta­ble train featu­res not only ple­asant and func­tio­nal inte­rior, air con­di­tio­ning, pas­sen­ger infor­ma­tion sys­tem, lifts and spa­ces for whe­el­cha­irs. It is also very quiet thanks to the cut­ting edge tech­no­lo­gi­cal solu­tions used. Apart from the ple­asant appe­arance, the train meets the highest safety stan­dards making the jour­ney not only com­for­ta­ble but, most impor­tan­tly, safe.
