Another EN57 to be modernised for Wielkopolska

The Marshal’s Office of the Wiel­ko­pol­ska Pro­vince com­mis­sio­ned NEWAG S. A. to per­form the over­haul and moder­ni­za­tion of the EN57-1025 elec­tric mul­ti­ple unit. This is a sup­ple­men­tary order to the con­tract signed on 9^th July, 2013 for moder­ni­zing two EN 57 series tra­ins. The  EMU which is the sub­ject of the con­tract will be moder­ni­zed in the same scope as the two EMUs moder­ni­zed in 2013.

The train will be ready for ope­ra­tion in Decem­ber 2014. The  gross value of the con­tract is PLN 8,523,900.00.
