You will charge your batteries and get info updates

As of today, Octo­ber 26, 2015, pas­sen­gers will be able to charge their tablets, e-readers or mobile pho­nes while tra­vel­ling on selec­ted tra­ins of Szybka Kolej Miej­ska SKM– War­saw Fast City Rail. The car­rier also laun­ched a new sys­tem upda­ting pas­sen­gers on train traf­fic chan­ges and poten­tial problems.

SKM is the first train ope­ra­tor in the Polish capi­tal which made it possi­ble for its pas­sen­gers to charge their tele­phone, tablet or e-reader bat­te­ries while tra­vel­ling on tra­ins ope­ra­ted by the War­saw Fast City Rail. On Mon­day, Octo­ber 26, 2015, the first two tra­ins manu­fac­tu­red by NEWAG S.A. (19 WE and 14 WE) fit­ted with USB char­gers star­ted ope­ra­ting the lines. The rema­ining tra­ins will have been fit­ted with USB char­gers within three mon­ths’ time. There will be two char­gers fit­ted per each train unit.
